HELP ON MONITOR CALIBRATION:

If you may or may not noticed, I'm having a bit of a trouble with my monitor, it is quite evident with the inconsistency of my color pallete... the thing is I really don't know how to calibrate my monitor and this obviously poses a big problem for me. I have consulted every good articles on the net about the subject and tried it out but it seems that I don't have a good judgement or an eye for it.

I came across a product called PANTONE HUEY, it's a monitor calibration tool that I think automatically does the work for you. I was just wondering if it's really effective before investing on it.

Does anyone had a PANTONE HUEY? Does it work?
Do you have any tips in calibrating your monitor?
